Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. When she was a kid, she went to her school, the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. Emma chose to be an actor by the age of six. Through the years, she attended the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. She learned to sing, dancing and acting. At the age of 10, she had already taken part in numerous Stagecoach plays and productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) The movie adaptation of J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for first time at the beginning of 1999. Agents for casting found Emma by way of her Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman told Emma along together with Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe after they all had eight consecutive auditions. The release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. The film broke all records for opening day and weekend sales, and it was the highest-grossing film of 2001. The film was praised by reviewers, and so were the performance of three actors. The Daily Telegraph, an important British newspaper, called Emma's performances "amazing". Emma received the Young Artist Award as the Leading Young Actress for a Feature Film. She was later nominated five times for her performance in the movie.
