Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is a Romanian/German actress. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara was born as the only son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. At the age of 16 and a leading part in a variety of television dramas. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, on Downfall. Downfall received nominations for an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial popularity. Additional Oscar nominated film starring the actress include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. In the past, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of important international and national productions. The projects include British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she has been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and the Cannes Film Festival.
